HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE Posted at 01:24 AM
I'm so happy I almost forgot all the details of the book before I got to see this movie. But I wasn't really excited about it unlike the previous movies. I'm probably aging...that's why. Well it helped me to feel less disappointed with the movie. But I became disappointed about it after I started to dig up some infos from the book. Drats. As usual it was so fast-paced and even people who haven't read the book noticed that. Could this be the worst movie out of the saga? I couldn't tell but it had its share of positive points. It was balanced when it comes to having both comical and tragic moments. It seemed the cast were more relaxed now (duh, it has been like 10 years already for them) and had other kinds of acting to do especially in the love department. The never-ending argument about scenes that were cut will never cease with movies that were based from books. It will always be the same problem. No movie will come out perfect if it was based from a book. NEVER. My only concern was the last scene. The battle at Hogwarts was so dry. I imagined it to be grand when I read the book. Hope they do something about it when it comes to Movie 7. Good luck. The movie made me want to read the book again because my brain has so many holes about it now. But again, I'm too lazy to read the book again. Hehe. I'll still watch Movie 7 parts 1 and 2. Wohoo!!!!!
